Ornery

   "That's what they say. Life isn't meant to be easy. But at least we get to deal together."

Smiling and popping a gummy worm in her mouth just letting it hang out for a second before pulling it in the rest of the way.

   "I think I can fanagle going with you. I gotta ask my boss though. He can get pretty ornery if I'm gone from the office to much."

Just listing to Garret intently Sam's eyes just searched his face. The way Garret talked and the air he had about him told her he was much different than Aaron. She could definitely tell they held different ranks.

Hearing what he said about trusting Aaron Sam gave a nod. She was thankful got his honestness and help. It was definitely. Good tidbit to know.

   "Thank you for you help and advise Garret. It helped."

Leaving his cubicle Sam started twords her area when she stopped and turned heading back to the front door. She'd be back shortly.

It wasn't to long before Sam was back. A cute little birthday bag in hand. She'd been lucky enough to find some Lego sets, and some new magazine of cars. It wasnt much but she hoped it would make Aaron feel at least a little good.

Going to the infermary coming over to Aaron . Setting the bag on the bed she smiled.

   "No one else might remember your birthday but I will now. Happy Birthday Aaron."
