Proud

Chatting with Laura Nate stopped and just watched Garret for a long moment. He had been pretty quiet most of the day. Not that, that was unusual, but something just seemed different tonight. He almost seemed lost in though tonight.

   "How was work today Garret?"

It seemed like a silly question to ask but it was better sitting there in silence. Nate had been trying to give Garret his space home and work. He wanted him to know he really did have some freedom and his life was his. It was just another step in trying to show Garret he could have his own life.

Sam smiled as Hal walked away. It felt nice to someone who had confidence in her and saw she was trying. She had a feeling her and Hal were going to be good friends. He was a pretty nice guy, remembering for a moment about his daughter Sam hoped Hal would be able to see her again soon. It was sad she had to miss out on a great dad.

Just listing to Scott while he talked Dalton was pretty surprised on how much he was chatting. It was very unlike Scott to be so chatty. Maybe he was tired of being silent and what he said made sense about being scared. Though Dalton didn't agree with the unless part he as going to argue because he had a feeling it would do no good.

"Determination is a good thing and I can't scoff that. You know you have people who will stand behind you, we do care and we want to see you grow stronger."

Quiet for a second Dalton takes his cup and gets a peace of ice from it. Chewing on it for a long moment and thinking he continued.

"I for one am proud of how far you have come. I know you want to get even stronger, and I believe you can. Just don't forget your friends want to help too ok? "
