Gutter

Nate couldn't help but study Garret's face longer tonight before glancing at Laura and than back. He wasn't sure why but just something seemed different. Maybe it was his boredom as he had said but he just looked tired, stressed and maybe a little worried deep in his thoughts. Maybe it was because of Jamison being around?

"If you don't want to go in tomorrow that's fine. I have a few things I need done around the house, if you want to keep yourself busy here. Nothing to exciting, just cleaning gutters, cleaning up the yard that kind of thing."

He wouldn't push Garret to hard about going into work but he new maybe he's like to keep busy. The work he had wasn't glamorous but at least it was something. Maybe even Laura could find something for him to do.

"That's completely up to you though."

Hearing Scott's words Dalton couldn't help but cringe as it felt like someone sucker punched him. He couldn't remember a time ever when Scott talked to him, or anyone like that. Just sitting at the table for several more moments Dalton finally pulled his wallet from his pocket and put money on the table.

Standing he gave a way and nod to Carson as thanks before leaving. Getting in the car he waited for Scott and than left. The drive home was a silent one as many things ran through Dalton's mind. He hadn't meant to make Scott upset.

Getting out and going inside Dalton took up his normal sitting spot but tonight was different. He was quiet, just let Scott do his thing while he just watched and waited. Tonight felt like it would be a long night.

Giving a yawn as she got to the barn Ashlee stopped hearing Lane. Scanning the area and seeing Travis she couldn't help but cringe a little. He was being pretty hard on him and she felt bad. Her mom was still sticking to her no riding, and eating meals with them but at least she hadnt yelled to much more at her. Glancing to the left and seeing Eric come her way Ashlee new she better get to what she should be doing and not watching Travis. She didn't need to hear from him again either.

to kill you.”
