satisfaction

Heading out of the barn with another wheel barrel of old bedding Ashlee stopped for a moment pulling her work gloves off. Looking down at her hands she cringed at the blood that trickled from her fingers. She didn't mind working hard, but she had never worked this hard before with out changing tasks. Now her hand were paying the price.

Pulling her gloves back on she cringed but stopped hearing a commotion. Looking over to the riding ring and seeing Dylan and Travis it looked like they were in a heated conversation but Ashlee couldn't hear why. Travis didn't look happy.

As the horse started to get more agitated Ashlee could see what would happen next before it even did. When Travis was thrown Ashlee cringed and wanted to make sure he was ok. Glancing to the side though and seeing Eric she let out a long sign and pulled her gloves back on trying not to even wince from the pain she felt in her hands. She wouldn't give anyone the satisfaction of knowing all she wanted to do was cry for more than one reason.

"I know, its hard watch but I think he's doing a lot better. He's just going to have good days and bad days like us all."

Smiling at Laura Nate leaned over and gave her a gentil kiss. He was please with Garret's progress even if it was slow.

Continuing to help Garret with the dishes and clear the table Maggie was all smiles. She enjoyed helping and it was even more fun having Garret help too.

Once finished Maggie hurried upstairs to start her school work. She didn't want to miss out on practicing tonight with Garret.
