Always Welcome

Once Aaron was situated she just watched him thinking about his question for a long moment. Searching his eyes for a long second there was something in them that was different. A little dull, maybe even upset. Grabbing the nearby chair and sitting down by the door giving Aaron space she let out a small sigh.

“I’m here because you’re not in handcuffs, so I need to stay close.”

Looking around the room she contemplated how different it looked than the cell. It was nicer and the bed looked a little more comfortable. Letting her eyes land on the picture on the wall it looked like a child had colored it. It was cute and she wondered for a second who drew it.

“If you’d rather I left you alone I can put the cuffs back on. I just thought you’d find this more comfortable.”

Hearing Ryder Thirteen moved a little to look at him and smiled. She hadn’t meant to wake him. He looked so comfortable there.

“It was just my dad checking in. He might come visit soon.”

Leaning back on the couch and trying to get back into the same comfortable position as she was before putting her arm around Ryder.

“You’re comfortable. Do you have to work tomorrow or can we just stay cuddled up?”

Feeling the nudge on her arm Ashlee looked over her shoulder and seeing Travis her face lite up with a smile. Spending time with Travis sure was nice and she hoped he wasn’t getting tired of her. Having him come to sit with her though told her he wasn’t.

“Hey Hey, I was save it for you in case you came.”

Hearing that he had good news after seeing Angel Ashlee couldn’t help the little squeal that came from her lips. She was so happy for him that he was healing so well. She knew how much pain he had been in and hated seeing that. Knowing he was getting better made her feel good.

“Oh that’s great Travis. I am so happy to hear that. We definitely need to find you a horse so we can ride. I’d like that.”

Feeling Sparky’s arms around her and the kiss to her cheek Faith smiled leaning her head up and giving him another kiss. She would never get tired of his love. Everything about her life with him was more perfect than she could ask for.

“Hi Babe!”

Getting back to work on the sandwiches Faith finishes the two plates up before grabbing two more slices from the bread back.

“I don’t mind Dylan being here at all. He is always welcomed.”
