Leaning back in the chair that was quickly becoming her Sam listened to Hal for a long moment. She gave a thoughtful nod. She did believe him, and after meeting a lot of people it was hard to believe herself too.
"No one thought Scott was capable of blackmailing Garret either. Sometimes people do crazy things when they believe in something so strongly."
Sam searches Hal's face for a long moment. It was a hard thing to think someone could be a mole, or that this whole thing was an inside job.
"It dosn't make them a bad person, they are just...going about it all wrong."
Seeing Pete heading for the door Ron hated to catch him no his way out but he had to let him know they would be working together. Wondering over he tossed a half salute.
"Hey Pete. I notice you were leaving so I won't keep you. I just wanted to let you know Reese wanted me to work with you on that possible Vigilante cases."
About to let him go back to what he was doing Ron stopped before cocking his head to the side as if remembering something.
"How is that friend of yours, the one that was missing?"
Returning the quick kiss Ashlee wished it could last all day but she knew they both had to get some work done as to not anger their parents from letting them hang out again.
"If you must I guess I can let you go for now."
Following Travis to the door she linked her fingers with his before stopping him and leaning up to give him another kiss. She just couldn't get enough and the happy feeling she felt.
"Of course I will save you a seat. Just make sure you are not late or I'll have to lay down over two chairs just to keep it safe."
Entering the house Ryan shed her jacket and hung it where Clint motioned. Slipping off her own shoes too she set them out of the way. Catching a whif of whatever Wendy was making smelled amazing and Ryan couldn't help but feel a growl in her stomach and she hoped Clint han't heard it. That would be rather embarrassing.
Turning a little as Clint and Ryan entered the kitchen Wendy smiled. She was happy Ryan had come to eat with the family. No one really knew her store more than who she was but Wendy could just tell me looking into the deep pools of her eyes she needed people to be there for her more than anyone new.
"Hi Ryan. I'm happy to have you joining us."
Going back to stirring the pot on the stove Wendy stopped when the sound of a baby crying came over the little monitor that was sitting on the table. The baby had been asleep for her nap for a little while now so this was about the right time for her to be waking.
"Actually you can help me, babe. Can you stir this while I get Dara up from her nap?"
Feeling just a little out of place Ryan sat down next to Chase. Not paying much mind to him it wasn't till he banged his spoon on his try again and babbled more that she tuned and look at him. Giving a small smile gave a small nod to him.
"Oh yeah? That is quite interesting."
Scrunching her nose at Chase as he babbled more Ryan laughed before taking a napkin that was on the table and whiped his mouth that had drool coming from it.
"There...is that better?"
