Getting into the kitchen with Aaron and watching him work Sam had no worry about anything happening. Even if she was keeping her guard up because it was smart. Following Aaron's orders, Sam had no problem just letting him take the lead. As the aromas filled the break room her stomach growled.
"You really are good at this."
Sam poped one of the chips in her mouth and closed her eyes for a second murmuring her satisfaction. Is really did taste good and she couldn't wait to try the rest. Opening her eyes again and giving a nod the idea of taking dinner to the roof sounded nice.
"Lets just slip this stuff in the bag so you can carry it and use your crutches, and I can get the rest."
Getting up to the roof was slow going but Sam didn't mind as she was patient waiting for him and making sure he was ok. Going past the door they had gone through this afternoon they climbed another flight of steps.
Finally getting to the open and opening the door the cool air hit her and it felt nice. Setting down their stuff Sam grabbed the blanket and put it down on the ground Sam folded it to give them a little more padding.
"There we go, should be a little more comfortable now. Hurry and sit down, I'm starving and this smells so amazing."
