Blanket

As Hunter just looked back at her Ryan bit her lower lip. She felt silly and she couldn't remember the last time she was this nervous. She had kissed other people before but...something about this was different. In a way is scared her a little.

When Hunter turned around Ryan's heart sank just a little. Had she made a mistake, and did Hunter not feel the same. Had she just lost the one person she had gown close too. She could kick herself for just following how she felt and kissing him.

   "Hunter...I'm..."

Ryan was going to say sorry and try to salvage things but her words were cut off as Hunter turned and pulled her into a kiss. The warmth, the feeling that washed over her, it was like a warm blanket on a cold day promising to keep her safe, to keep her snug, to protect her from the harsh world. This was Hunter, this was what he felt, and this was real.

Slowly letting her hands creep up his arms one found his back, while the other went higher to the back of his head. Returning the kiss, returning the emotions and the passion Ryan didn't try to hide it. If they went home and things went back to how they were, if Hunter forgot about her at least she had this moment to keep to herself, to keep her safe.

Pulling back slightly Ryan turned her head the other way and went back for another sweet kiss. So many things ran though her, so many emotions but none of them mattered as this moment was there.
