Moments

Karla couldn't help but laugh again as Eli stuck the note to his head and rolled away. At least there was never a dull moment and for that Karla was thankful. She liked working with Levi and his dad was super nice. His mom cooked well as well and Karla was thankful for every leftover meal he brought in. It was like she knew the whole family, without even meeting them all.

Time moved quickly again and as Karla yawn and looked at the clock she could hardly believe it was a quarter to twelve. Standing she left Levi where he was working and wondered to the coffee pot to start some more. Something told her this really was going to be a long night. She didn't mind as long as the coffee never ran dry.

As if almost planned as soon as the coffee had finished, so came Levi's call and Karla couldn't help the smile that spread across her lips. Pouring two cups and putting cream and into the cups she wondered back over to Levi handing him one before sitting on the ground with him.

"Of course there is still coffee. I knew we were going to need it. So what part are you stuck on now?"

Putting her helmet on and getting on the back of the bike Katie gave Jason a squeeze to let him know she was ready. Speeding off she really had realised how much she had missed these bike rides. They were always special to her.

Getting settled in a nice spot Katie took her shoes off and put her feet into the sand. It felt warm and cool at the same time a feeling she loved. Leaning to the side a little she let her shoulder rest against Jason. This was almost too perfect as the colors danced across the sky.

"It couldn't be more perfect at the moment."

Looking to at Jason Katie searches his face for a long moment the smile never leaving her own. Some days he was the only view she needed.

"Thanks for making today a special one. I missed our moments like this together."

"I think your right. If we don't have a picture he is never going to think we are telling the truth. Honestly...I'm kinda shocked myself."

Ryan smiled before looking out the window and seeing the ranch come to life with everyone working and bustling around. Her mind wondered for a long moment about going back home. It felt so strang that in a way she didn't want too even if she did miss Eli and Ziden. Would things just become normal again? Would she start seeing Alec again?

"I think taking a little faster ride with you on Bonzi sounds like an amazing idea too. Can't be much worse than going fast in a car, right?"

Leaving the barn and about to head to the dining hall to get some coffee Xander stopped seeing Jim. Just watching him for a long moment He could still his eye sight wasn't back yet. Just seeing him wander gave him mixed emotions. A little fear he could get hurt but at the same time he was happy that Jim had that determination.

Rerouting and going the way Jim was going Xander followed just watching or a long while to make sure he was ok, but to try and let him find his own way. Seeing now he had lost his way Xander thought fast not wanting to discourage Jim, but wanting to help still.

"Shesh Jim, you sure do have a knack of scaring the tar out of me."

Coming around the corner Xander drew a little close and rested a hand on Jim's arm so he knew where he was before removing it. The last thing he wanted to do was make Jim feel worse.

"It's really good to see you up and about. Surprised to see you behind the garage, though. Did you need any help?"
