Dumb

Feeling Hunter's arm around her Ryan moved closer to him and rested her hand on his chest, and her head cradled on his shoulder. She felt safe with Hunter as strange as it sounded. There was just something about him that seemed to calm her raging mind. 

   "I've...got you too..right? I feel safe with you and I think Katie was dumb for ever letting you go"

Moving her head a little more to get more comfortable Ryan could feel her eyes getting heavy, but she didn't want to sleep yet. What if she did and the dreams came back. Just letting the silence linger for a moment she finally spoke again not being able to help but wonder.

   "How come you are so nice to me? Not even Alec was this nice when we first met."

Taking a sip of her soup Misty couldn't help the surprised look on her face as Carson mentioned he had bought a house. She was happy for him and at the same time she felt..sad. Had she waited too long and missed her own opportunity. Was Carson no moving on without her? 

   "Wow...that's great Carson. I guess finding a moment to talk to you about moving back in it out of the question."

Misty did her best to keep a light tone, but deep down inside she was hurt. She had been trying so hard, she had been spending time with Carson to try and trust him again...and then he's pushed her away, kept finding reasons not to hang out. She wasn't mad he got a house if anything she was mad at herself for not just taking him back. She was mad for needing time and mad she had been emotionally unstable.

   "Mac would you like another grilled cheese? I'll go grab some more."

She had to get up, she had to go to another room or Carson and Mac would see the tears that wanted to escape her eyes. She had no one to balm though but herself.

Looking up and smiling as Hal came in the break room Sam took a bite of her taco. Justin was back? She had heard of Justin and read a little of his file but she wasn't sure she had actually met him yet. That was good he was back though to try and help...right?

   "Oh, he was curious more than anything and thinks I'm a confusing person. I guess he is kinda right about that."
