Got it?

Hunter gave Ryan a sidelong glance. "Aww... I was gonna find some terribly sappy romance." A grin slipped out before he chuckled. "Here." He tossed her the remote. "You drive. Just nothing scary," he teased. "It'll give me nightmares."

Once his stomach was satisfied, he sat back against the pillows and stretched out, putting his hands behind his head to watch whatever Ryan found. Yeah, this was a little awkward, but it wasn't bad.

As the movie came to an end, he stretched and rolled off his side of the bed. "Okay. I'm gonna hit the pool. I don't care if you stay in here," he added. He wasn't trying to kick her out. "But if I were you, I'd at least put those shorts on you were taking about and dip your toes in the water. It would be a shame to waste the opportunity." He grinned as he grabbed his bag to change into his trunks in the bathroom.

It wasn't ten minutes later, he was at the indoor pool, having shed his t-shirt and jumped in. There was no one else using it which made it even better. Just finishing another lap, he spotted Ryan and grinned, shaking the water from his face. "Hey, she made it." He floated over to the edge. "It's nice and warm."

Taking one set of darts, Hal gave Sam a skepital look. "Had to make me go first, eh?" He was just teasing, although he really hadn't had much practice.

Going first proved just that. It wasn't horrid, but certainly nothing to be proud of. He turned and gave Sam a sheepish look. "What happens in here tonight stays in here. Got it?"

Carson sat on the porch of the house, careful not to lean against the railing that needed to be replaced. He'd just spent the last two hours tearing out wallpaper from the living room and his shoulders were killing him. This place was going to take a lot of long evenings but...it gave him something to do and it felt good he could call it his own. At least it wasn't the restaurant, and after his conversation with Justin, it was just as well he had somewhere else to sleep. On an air mattress. With no furniture. But at least it didn't smell of pizza grease.

Looking at his phone for a good long while, he finally dialed. There was something else Justin had mentioned - and it was no news to him, but getting it from two sides, it was probably time to do something about it. He didn't really like it. It felt too close to making a move, and he was bound and determined he was done doing all the work. But this wasn't about him.

Finally he sighed and dialed Misty at home. Hearing her answer, it took him just s moment to respond. "Hey, it's me. Sorry to bother you this evening. I'll make it quick." He looked down at the porch steps and saw a board that should be replaced.

"Um... It's about Mac. She misses you something awful. With Alec being gone and all, I think it makes it worse. Anyway... You don't have to say yes but I was wondering if her family might drop her off for an evening with you sometime. Girl stuff or whatever. It would make her happy and make my life a little easier too."
