Sam licked her ice cream and thought for a long moment about Aaron's comment. Did she have an answer for that? It sure sounded like brainwashing to her too but she knew it wasn't. Sam was happy for the ice cream so it gave her a little more time to think about her answer.
"I haven't done what I have done because I want to give you information. I've been doing it to try and show you there is a better life, and because I wanted to make it more comfortable for you."
Taking another lick of her ice cream Sam leaned back on the bench and looked out at the water. Just concentrating on the little boats that dotted the water. Finally looking at Aaron again she gave a soft smile.
"You are giving up information on your own free will. Being free, having a life means more to you then keeping information about people who don't care. We aren't forcing you, just letting you know if would benefit you and you would also have us watching your back because we care."
Quirking an eyebrow at Garret Nate could tell something was up even if he said it was nothing. He would let it be for now though knowing not to push Garret. He would tell him when he was ready. Turning back to his work Nate just continue on what was doing even though he could hear Garret behind him still.
Hearing Garret start to talk again Nate turned around to study him for a long moment. He knew sooner or later this time would come. Honestly, though he really had gotten used to having Garret around and it was nice, Seeing Maggie smile was even better. But it was time and Garret did need to spread his wings too.
"Of course you won't have to come back here. I knew this time would come sooner or later."
Thinking about the weekend Nate smiled.
"It has been Laura and I's pleasure to have you. How about this weekend we take some time and go looking for an apartment for you?!"
