As Hal's phone rang and he walked into the other room Sam cringed just a little as she heard part of the conversation. As the conversation kept going and then Hal was on the phone with his daughter Sam stood taking the plates to the counter. At least the food would be there if Hal got hungry.

Wonder into the living room as he hung the phone up Sam just stood in the door was for a moment. Hearing his sniffs of crying she wondered closer and sat down next to him. Sam put an arm over his shoulder before turning him to her for a moment and putting her other arm over his other shoulder pulling him into a big hug.

   "I'm here for you..."

Hearing a knock on the door Destiny smiled and went to the door opening it. Seeing Zan and smile she opened it a little more to let him inside. 

   "Do you ever not look good?"

Destiny had a cute little sundress on and some sandals. Wondering to the kitchen she put the last few things into the picnic basket before closing the top. Looking at Zan again she smiled. She really was excited about their little date. He was a good guy and so far a good friend. If there was more there she wasn't sure but it definitely was worth a shot.
