Long Night

Seeing Jason's eyes open and hearing his voice Katie moved closer to the bed and smiled down at him. She was worried, for so many reasons. Why this was happening, why did it seem like they were being messy, there was something they were missing and she didn't like how it felt.

"Oh, nothing much other than giving me a heart attack. Than again you always did do that a lot."

Leaning down and placing a kiss on Jason's lips Katie just searches his face. She was so overjoyed he was ok it would be hard to describe for a moment. Though this had not been life or death it was still hard.

"I know we didn't want to come into work today but this is not what I had in mind huh?"

As Reese comes over Nate just listens to him. Jason was shot...again. They were at a loss on what was going on and why. This whole thing didn't make sense at all.

"Garret is...not doing well after the whole incident with Justin. We finally got him to eat a little but not much. I can definitely see if he can help though."

Looking down at the paper work he had just spread out. Letting out a sign he looks up at Reese again. He'd get to this paper work sooner or later. He felt bad he hadn't but hoped Reese would understand and the FBI too.

"I'll head back home and see if he knows anything. Seems like today is going to be a long night."

It didn't take long for Nate to get home. Once inside he found Laura and gave her the short version of what was going on. It was possible that tonight was going to be a long one at work, he wanted to make sure she would be ok and if she wanted to take the care so she had it if need me she could drive him to work it was up to her though.

After talking with Laura Nate's next destination was Garret's room. Knocking on the door and opening it he enters seeing Garret awake. Giving a small wave her steped closer. If Garret had any idea what was going on that would be better than nothing.

"Hey Garret, I needed to talk to you about something..."

Not getting answer Nate just gave him the low down of what was going on. He hoped Garret would at least tell him something useful or give them some hint on what was going on to know what the next step was.

"...So we are at a loss and didn't know if maybe you could help shed a light on this whole thing before something worse happens to Jason."

Destiny thinks for a long moment. Chance just seemed down about the whole Elite FBI thing. She did feel bad for him, and wish it would go better. She wished the Elite could snuff out the Agency for good but it was a slow process.

"Going through the Elite might not be the best rout, and it might be slow going but its the right one, and I am positive it will in the end be for the good."

As Chance changed the subject Destiny just lets it drop for now. It was his first night home and having it end on a sour note was not going to happen. She wanted it to be a good night, not just for her but for him too.

"I'm thinking...snuggling and a movie are in order. Maybe some sour candy...that sounds good to me anyways."
