Growl

Letting her eyes flutter open at the sound of Garrets's voice and his slight prompting Maggie gives a yawn before sitting up and stretching. She hadn't meant to fall asleep it was just warm and comfortable tucked under Garret's arm.

As her stomach give a growl she grins and looks at Garret. She was a little hungry after all, and Laura always made the best food. She didn't think there was anything she made that Maggie didn't like.

"I guess I am hungry. Will you come too?"

Looking up at Kirk came in Misty bristled. She didn't want to deal with this not again. Though she would have to say going to see Carson that afternoon had been nice. It was nice to just...be there with him and work along side him so at the same time did she deserve to give him thanks.

   "Nope, no questions."

She really didn't have anything else to say though she wished she could. Maybe she would be able to trust Kirk on day again but actions speak louder than words and only time would tell how that went. If she was to go off the vibes she got from people, she would say he was being really genuine, and he was an ok guy, but she had been wrong before. So now she would just wait and see.

It didn't take Jason long, and even if it had Katie wouldn't have minded. Though she new they should go into work, she really didn't want too. Today seemed like a good day to play hookie. So maybe going in late wouldn't be as bad.

"Oh I am sure Wyatt is already there wondering why you were still at my place."

Katie can't help but laugh turning walking down the steps. Slipping her glasses on her eyes catch something. Just looking down the street for a long moment Katie's eyes catch site of it again and she can feel her heart start to thump in a different way than before. Something was not right and she could feel it. The glimmer was so high to be reflecting for anyone, and most of the roofs on the houses down that way were slanted for someone to just be relaxing outside.

   "Jason....get down now."

Her words held urgency ad she quickly acted and pushed Jason down. It had been a long time since she had been his bodyguard, and she felt rust on it, but she hoped she had caught it in time, and acted fast enough. A shot rang out in the air.
